Hey! For our plans right..
1) Bus services for people's whose houses are really far from DHS. We spoke to the school about it, and no, the school will not subsidize transport for those living far from DHS. Reason is, there is really no reason why students have to pay for your choices to put it harshly. If you know that the school is far from your house, and you still come, means...you must be ready to travel long distances! But..no worries! haha. did you know that...there's actually school bus services to school like every morning? I asked the school if they can arrange buses from west side, while meanwhile, your can check with the GO for the contact numbers of these school buses.
anw...if you're coming from...
1) Sengkang, punggol, or hougang, you can contact mr poh - 98440896, 64563885.
2) Tampines, simei, chaichee, you can contact mr tan - 92388380, or mr lam - 98179710
2) As for the packed food from canteen...quite a majority respond that your dun want packed food! so..the packed food idea will be thrown away.
3) 158! Same rules, the school really anyhow spend student's money on buses that only cater to a group of ppl - the ppl at aljunied mrt. but definitely, the frequency of buses from 7-745 has increased, with more 158Bs catering to ppl from our school...so..dun be late! haha.
4) As for the sweets in class thing, we are unable to get a 100% commitment from quite a number of ppl. The main issue will be about the cleanliness..

HI ALL!
ANY SUGGESTIONS? =D
Thursday, February 5, 2009 / 6:41 AM
Hello everyone! Thanks very much for your support the past week. I'll release some of the tension and assure you that 3 out of the 4 YESMAN! members have been shortlisted for SHSC! They will be going through a vigorous boot camp before the final SCs are chosen. Hopefully, they will make it and we will see them during this year's Investiture!
Some updates:
As we have mentioned, we will not stop in our efforts to improve life in DHS, hence the suggestion box in the foyer will remain there for anyone who wants to let the SCs know their complains and suggestions. If there isn't enough paper, feel free to use your own rough paper to write your comments. If they are changes that can be implemented, be rest assured they will be given to the appropriate authorities.
We might not update this blog as frequently as before, but don't be mistaken into thinking we have slacked off or this was just a campaign gimmick. The school has started for us as well, and we need time to juggle between schoolwork, tests, CCA and SC commitments. Continue to give us your support and comments though, because we may not blog, but we do visit it frequently.
Finally, a big thank you to all the candidates who campaigned, for their efforts and their attempts to convince the school to implement changes for the sake of the JH and SH student body. I hope everyone else can appreciate their hardwork.
Keep a look out, many more exciting things will be coming your way after the new SHSC is formed. :D
All the best for school,
keep up the Dunmanian spirit!

HEY GUYS! it's us again! btw...fyi!
158 departs from serangoon interchange 18-19min per bus...so you guys for now should just
try to leave house earlier on a regular basis so as to spread out the human jam. it seems that the HQ hasn't given 158 orders to depart on a more frequent basis so...let's wait for the good news they promised DHS k =D
also! the student lounge will be open in march...so for now...snr high ppl!
try to use the study areas i.e. the benches at e.g. corridors towards the classroom blocks to study during peak lunch hours and recesses! it will be appreciated greatly esp. by the jnr high people who really cant find seats during recess.
BTW! through our surveys...we realised that...most of you guys responded that the most time-consuming thing during recess is..FINDING OF SEATS! so we'll ask
the GO whether we are able to put in more seats for you guys...and meanwhile...try to squeeze
in more, and not choose seats! and also...for people studying in canteen, try to put
your bags under the chair/table to maximize the usage of seats!
As for the toilets...we will be moving around to
check the taps/sinks/flushs! and will be giving a detailed report to the OM! as for now..TATA! =D
